A Pool is the Ultimate Summer Escape!

Well, it's finally here... Summer has officially begun! The kids are out of school and perhaps they are already starting to get bored. With the hot weather outside, what better way to spend a day in the sun than in the swimming pool? At Eagle Trace Golf & Event Center, our pool is a great place to celebrate a birthday party, or to simply relax and have fun in the water! 

Eagle Trace is home to two heated outdoor pools. One is for the "big kids" and the other is designated for the youngsters. The pools are open all day, every day. Memorial Day celebrated the opening of both of our pools, and they will remain open through Labor Day. Spend an entire day at the pool for a daily fee of $3.50, or purchase a punch card option for frequent occurrences. 

Having a party, event, or group get-together? Why not have it at the pool? The pool may be rented for any type of event happening in your life. For your next corporate event, golf outing, wedding, or birthday party, consider a pool-side environment. Our pool party packages include everything you need for a memorable day. We furnish large pizzas, soda's (plus free refills), and cake from Dairy Queen! Various packages are offered to accommodate for the size of your party.

Hosting a Successful Golf Outing

Every spring thousands of business men and women hightail it out of their cubicles to play in golf outings. Golf outings are a great way to escape from everyday life. They can also be a great way to fundraise, entertain clients or raise awareness about a cause or organization. Regardless, in order to ensure you golf outing is as successful as possible start planning it during the winter months. These five tips will help as you plan your big day!

1. Determine the Purpose – First, you need to understand the purpose for the outing, determine the goal and write it down! This will help with the decision making in all areas of planning and executing the event.

2. Spread the Word - Advertise and market your event through brochures, flyers, newsletters, Facebook, Twitter, and word of mouth. Make sure you cover all your bases from online to print.

3. Contests - Make the outing more engaging by hosting various contests throughout the course. Designate certain holes as longest putt, longest drive or closest to the pin. If the participants are up for a real challenge have them try to hit a hole in one. Integrate these contest ideas into your marketing before the outing. If you have the resources, hold a contest before the event either online or in a drawing.

4. Host a Party - Place food and drinks on the 18th or the last hole and invite friends and family members of the golfers to cheer on their favorite player. It is a great way to involve the people who don’t play golf.

5. Have Fun - Regardless of the reason you're hosting a golf outing, everybody needs to have fun. You should create a relaxed atmosphere where nobody takes himself or herself too seriously.
